How the LCL Seed, Sprout, and Share Library works…

Borrow

  • Browse the seed catalog
  • Fill out a borrower card or ask for your card at the Information desk
  • Borrow up to 25 packets each week

Plant

  • Take your borrowed seeds home
  • Plant them in your garden
  • Garden appropriately

Save

  • Attend gardening workshops, sponsored by the library
  • Try to save your seed at the end of the season

Return

  • Keep a portion for your garden
  • Return a portion to the library
  • Mark your return on your borrower card at the library’s Information desk

Learn

  • Attend programs
  • Check out books
  • Learn how to save your seeds
