Join the Licking County Library for the its 4th Annual Cruise-In on May 5th from 6 – 9 PM in the parking lot of the Main Library. The event is free and open to the public. Poppy’s Roadside Diner is available that evening for those wanting dinner while walking around the car show.
Newark, Ohio—Licking County Library (LCL) is officially fine free. That means no penalties for patrons who are late returning books, movies or any materials—no matter if it is a few days or a few weeks. The Library’s goal is to remove the barriers to its resources and services while continuing its mission of serving a community of life-long learners.
To kick off this month's featured location, the Bookmobile, we have an introduction from Brock Hutchison, Head of Mobile Services. Brock grew up in Carrollton, Ohio, but has resided in Licking County with his wife and dog for five years. He is a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers and anything Cleveland. Brock completed his undergraduate studies at Muskingum University in History and went on to obtain a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Kent State University.
April is Autism Awareness Month! During the month of April, the main Library will showcase artwork produce by children and teens on the autism spectrum. The Learning Spectrum (Newark) students and My Place To Be members would appreciate customers sharing supportive feedback of the artwork using the comment form provided.
